Dr. Bijan Afar

Dr. Afar is a Periodontist and Oral Implantologist for our multi-location dental office. He is the owner of Mid-Wilshire Dental Care, Noho Dental Group, Allure Dental Arts, and co-owner of Sunset Plaza Dental.
Dr. Afar has more than 29 years of experience as a periodontist and implantologist. He is passionate about restorative dentistry and is committed to restoring the teeth and gums of his patients. Dr. Afar uses his varied background, expertise, and care for his patients, providing them with the best, healthiest and functional smiles.
Dr. Afar received his DDS and Master of Science in Oral Biology from UCLA School of Dentistry. In addition, Dr. Afar was among the top five percent of dental students in the nation to receive The National Institute of Health Fellowship. He received a specialty degree from the University of Washington in Seattle in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. He remains a preeminent expert in his field through his active memberships with the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), and many other organizations.
